Clinical Medical Assistant
The Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) is a member of the healthcare team working under the direct supervision of a Physician, Registered Nurse, or Physician’s Assistant. Students who complete the Academy's CMA program will be eligible to take the national certification board exam to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
Nursing Assistant
This program prepares students to work as Nursing Assistants (NAs) in hospitals, nursing homes, or residential care facilities. Through classroom lectures, campus labs, and clinical training, participants learn the skills required of NAs. Students who complete the program will be eligible to take the State of Tennessee Certified Nursing Assistant exam.
Phlebotomy Technician
A Phlebotomy Technician is a member of the healthcare team who is skilled in various techniques of obtaining, labeling, sorting, preparing and transporting blood samples from patients. Students who complete the Academy's Phlebotomy Technician program will be eligible to take the national certification board exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
Professional Coder PLUS
The Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is the gold standard for medical coding in physician offices and hospital settings. Students who complete the Academy's Professional Coder PLUS program will be eligible to take the national Certified Professional Coder (CPC) board exam.
Medical Administrative Assistant / Electronic Health Records Specialist
The Medical Administrative Assistant/Electronic Health Records Specialist Program thoroughly prepares students for the administrative skills and electronic health records that medical administrative assistants need to know. Students who complete the Academy's Medical Administrative Assistant / Electronic Health Records Specialist (MAA/EHRS) program will be eligible to take the national certification board exam to become an Electronic Health Records Specialist (EHRS) as well as eligible to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) national board exam.

Students who complete the Academy's MAA/CMA BUNDLE program will be eligible to take the national certification board exams to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), and an Electronic Health Records Specialist (EHRS).
